《台灣樂士錄》觸動旋律的職人魂—第十集

「台灣味」可以用音樂來表達嗎？怎麼樣的流行音樂能讓人立即聯想到台灣呢？聆聽劉清池的作品，或許心中會有答案升起。

每當聽見葉啟田的〈愛拼才會贏〉時，那咚咚作響、振奮人心的鼓聲前奏，立刻聯想到台灣人認真打拼精神；或者是那傳來陣陣海浪與海鳥叫聲—江蕙的〈惜別的海岸〉、亦或詹雅雯的〈人生公路〉、還有運將車上飄揚的電子琴演奏樂，都有他透過音樂展現對人的關懷，編譜出一首首引起大眾共鳴、乘載時間與氣味的經典作品。

《台灣樂士錄》團隊萬分榮幸，採訪了鮮少曝光的一代編曲家—劉清池。從戰後至今，他一身精彩的經歷，走過台灣半世紀的流行音樂變化過程。

現在，邀請您跟著我們腳步，一同進入台語流行歌編曲家—劉清池的音樂故事。藉由此篇影音與文字專訪，為台灣第一代流行音樂職人紀錄畫上圓滿的句點。

Taiwanese Maestros
Episode 10: Liu Chīng-chíh (劉清池)

Liu Chīng-chíh, one of the top Taiwanese musicians working in the pop music industry in Taiwan, has been working behind-the-scene of music for more than half a century.

His works have accompanied generations of Taiwanese, imprinted deeply into the music industry in Taiwan, and turned into a collective memory for the people on this island. Whenever hearing the iconic song “Ài bîa jìa ē yán (Dedicate yourself and you will win)” by Ye Chi-tian, the unique prelude of the drums would immediately remind Taiwanese people of the uplifting hard work spirit. His rich composing character not only existed in the classic Taiwanese hits such as Jiang-Huì’s “Farewell Coast” or Zhan Yâ-wen’s “Road of Life,” but it also layered perfectly in the electronic piano sound and the songs in the karaoke system of transportation buses. His warm and personal composing style is the perfect evidence of how much he cared for the music that resonated with this island and the beautiful people who live on it.

Opposite from his outgoing characteristic music, Mr. Liu is living a simple life with a low-key profile. With a refined temperament and a soft tone, he slowly but firmly shared his stories with us, with a warm smile on his face as he spoke. It is an honor to present you, Taiwanese Maestros - Liu Chīng-chíh, in our last episode of the first generation of the music documentary series.
