On this trip, I headed to the river Wey for my first river session of the season.
And as this was the day after the season opened I was sure it was going to be rammed, but it was just me on the beat, perfect.
Conditions were horrendous, hot, muggy, high air pressure, well that’s the excuses done….
It was a fantastic day, not a huge amount of fish but I did catch and was just brilliant to be back on the bank after a short break.
