The zeppelin loop (Rosendahl loop) is the loop form of the zeppelin bend and as such it shares many of the same properties such as stability under varying load conditions and ease of untying after heavy loads.

Advantages: Stable secure and easily untied after heavy loading

Disadvantages: can be confusing to tie.
