A short video taken on October 23rd 1994 when my favourite loco class - the 121's - no 124 and 126 head a down push pull set, taking the staff from signalman Jim McDonald on its way westwards. Jim also hands the staff to the driver of 085 on the up passenger. Those of you familiar with the station will note that the down home and loop starters were subsequently replaced by different semaphore signals, notably the disappearance of the statuesque down starter!
