Well, this was an unusual bout of inspiration. I've always been fond of The Pebble and the Penguin, but I hadn't seen it in a very long time. Then, upon looking for another CD, I stumbled upon my copy of the Pebble/Penguin soundtrack, and I, being conquered by memories of the movie, decided to listen to it again. What first inspired the project was a line at the beginning of the song, "Just one humble stone, but oh, what a stone can do." Yes...it made me think of Ahiru's pendant...and from there, everything sort of floated into place: the naive, innocent Mytho became an adorable Hubie, Rue became a sophisticated Marina, and everyone else framed the romance around them. ...Yeah, everyone is being called a penguin, but...I was rather surprised by how well it all worked out, clip-wise. XD I thank TwilightWings for her assistance with this video; unfortunately I had worked around the clip you gave me before you sent it...but I hope you like it anyway, love. So yes...everyone, take a trip down Memory Lane if you've seen this movie or Underrated-Movie Road if you haven't, and enjoy. ^^
