Guava jelly recipe details-----------as below
Ingredients--------
Guava-------------------1.5kg
Sugar---------------------900gm
Lemon--------------------3pcs
Bay leaves----------------1 pcs
Water------------------------ 1lit


Making procedure--------
Wash and clean Guava & wipes with a dry cotton cloth,then slice into pieces and collect in a karhai. Add 1 litter water into it . Turn on the gas & start boiling Guava in low flame .
When it comes to a boiling point then with the help of a masher slowly smash boiled Guava. Then turn off gas & keep to cool for 45mins.
Now put on a clean cotton cloth over a bowl & with the help of a strainer collect guava puree from pulp. Now press the puree of guava to get a clear guava juice. Again use that after strain pulp & press same way to get maximum guava juice.
Now measure the juice quantity and collect in another bowl. Because same quantity Sugar need to use.
Turn on the gas and heat the karhai,then transfer guava juice and boiling in low flame. Aftersome Time add sugar 900gm in two separate batch and stir a while to dilute slowly.
Now cover and cook for 30mins. After that add bay leaves and lemon juice 3 Teaspoon. Remove and discard layer of froth. Also remove Bay leaves after some time. Now can check slow change in colour of juice and change in thickness. Then low the flame and stir slowly.
Turn off the gas and keep the jelly in rest for 45mins.
Again Turn on the gas and boil a glass jar to remove any possible bacteria. Store guava jelly in the glass jar and keep in freeze and can be used upto 6months.
