1 tbsp ghee
1/2 cup thick vermicelli
1 L milk
2 tbsp sugar ( optional) I didn’t add sugar
5 Chopped mangoes -
2 tbsp nuts roasted in little ghee.
1. Take ghee in thick bottomed pan on low heat. Add vermicelli in the pan. Stir until brown and crispy.
2. Add milk. Keep stirring on low heat till it’s thick and creamy.
3. Add 6/7 strands of saffron and sugar ( if you want to add)
4. Take peeled mangoes. Chop the mangoes. Blend half of the chopped mangoes and make purée ( roughly 1 1/2 cup )
5. Cool the vermicelli pudding and put it in the serving dish.
6. Add mango purée and mix well.
7. Garnish the dessert with rest of the mango pieces and sprinkle over the dry fruits. Chill and enjoy the mango vermicelli pudding.
8. You can also serve this dessert in dessert cups/ glasses by layering it.
