The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has commenced fitness tests for national cricketers at the Faisalabad High Performance Center. The physio and trainer assessed 10 players, including Shaheen Shah Afridi, Imam-ul-Haq, and Haris Rauf, through various physical exercises such as 2 km running and running on the crease. The fitness of other key players, including captain Shan Masood and Babar Azam, is scheduled for September 9. The results of these tests will influence the central contract list and the selection of players for the upcoming series against England and the tour of Australia. PCB plans to test a total of 30 players, with 13 already tested in Lahore. Last year, 25 cricketers received central contracts. Stay tuned for more updates on the fitness assessments and their impact on team selection!
