When Jalaluddin Rumi was living a normal life like all other people, with no goal other than performing his mission and function in life like the rest of the people... and since things did not always go in one line... then in a decisive and fleeting moment, in the midst of the intense crowding, specifically in the Konya market, he came from turning the picture upside down. He is Shams Tabrizi, the Sufi lover with strange eccentricities.
This old man, in shabby clothes, suddenly appeared from among the large crowd of people, blocking the road, standing and striking the mule of “Al-Rumi” with his hand to prevent it from moving or even from being able to move! It started to groan loudly, raising its front legs until it almost made Al-Rumi fall from its back, who quickly got down, astonished by the horror of what had happened, kidnapped into the light of this majestic old man with his deep, far-reaching gaze, as if he was looking beyond the universe! It was as if fate had woven its threads and said its word, transforming Al-Rumi’s life completely into an extraordinary life, and decreeing for its owner eternal immortality.
