Drum solo is a dynamic part of a bellydance show. It connects the dancer and the drummer with strong accents and enchanting rhythm.

Classically referred to as Raqs Sharqi, danse oriental, or Raks Baladi the belly dance is a fusion of Arabic folk styles, mixing with other worldly influences such as Russian ballet and latin dances which developed roots in early Egyptian cinema and the cabarets in 1920's Egypt.
