This is my first time in Bali, Indonesia, I'm very excited to be here and can't wait to explore this beautiful province of Indonesia!

There is no other place like Bali. A magical blend of a colourful culture, friendly people, stunning nature, countless activities, tropical weather, culinary delights, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful accommodation.

Bali is rated regularly as one of the best travel destinations in the world and for very good reasons. There is something great for everyone to explore and discover.

I started my journey at the airport waiting for my flight to Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, where I will be transferring to Bali. I didn't have much time to make my transfer as my flight was delayed for an hour but fortunately I managed to get through immigration just in time, exchange my money, and get my Indonesian sim card.

I then had a few minutes spare to grab some Indonesian chicken it was quite delicious and tender.
With time running out I then had to run to gate 28, which was quite far away but I made it just in time as everyone was boarding the flight. Next stop my Bali villa! After a three hour drive from the airport up to the north coast of the Island, near Lovina I arrived at my very beautiful villa. Which cost me around $100 per night. It was absolutely stunning and massive.

The villa measured around 4000 square meters, 3 bedrooms, a large living/dining area and a huge swimming pool that looked out onto the Java sea. Although the villa was right on the beach, it wasn't one of the best beaches I've seen. The sand was quite black and there was a fair bit of rubbish about.

Then feeling quite hungry I ordered some very delicious Indonesian chicken take away from Grab.
I may have ordered slightly too much, but I managed to finish all of the delightful dishes anyway. It came to 366,000 Indonesian rupiah ($23)

Exploring Canggu was a mix of beauty and chaos. I set off on a long, tiring walk to Canggu Beach, winding through narrow streets filled with the hum of scooters and traffic. Along the way, I passed pockets of beauty, lush greenery and charming cafes, but some spots were cluttered with trash, and there were many places still under construction, adding to the uneven feel of the area.

Foreigners were everywhere, riding scooters or strolling through the busy streets, blending into the lively, but often noisy, vibe. The sidewalks were scarce, forcing me onto the edge of the road.

Finally reaching Canggu Beach was a welcome relief from the constant traffic noise. The sound of the crashing waves replaced the drone of scooters, and the cool ocean breeze made the long walk worth it.

After that I headed back to my second villa, which was also very lovely with a private swimming pool and 3 bedrooms.

The next day I caught my flight at Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport, which was quite large and very well equipped to manage the large number of tourists that visit Bali every year.

It was a journey of contrasts, but as I stood waiting for my flight I knew my trip to Bali had been filled with unforgettable moments—where serenity and vibrant chaos met in perfect harmony.
