I visited Carmel and Monterey California where I used to live for my first job. I used to go out surfing with a longboard or bodyboarding with fins three to four times a week. In the wintertime, the swells would get HUGE and were sometimes too big for anyone including myself to be out in the water. Luckily, this day, the swells were not big. But they kicked my out-of-shape butt. Phew! That was fun but challenging at the same time. Also, I brought my mouth mount for the GoPro and forgot to bring the screw that attaches the camera to the mouth mount, so I was trying to hold the camera and catch the wave at the same time. Next time, I go out bodyboarding, I'll have the mouth mount =P

And for those wondering, yes there are great white sharks that swim these waters. There is usually at least one shark attack in the waters around Monterey/Carmel each year. I still go out in the water. I love being out there. If it is my time to go, I'm ready to die. But I choose life as long as I have it.
