Is this VA monitor a true Next Gen 2023 Odyssey Monitor or do we get more of the same with the tried and true VA tech of standard 43" monitors from Aorus and Asus?

Today I show you with a variety of tests from Brightness, Blooming, UFO Tests to Next Generation console gaming and of course PC gaming. This 43" Neo G7 is a very good monitor SDR and HDR peak highlights are great from gaming to movie viewing I was happy with what I was seeing. But this Neo G7 is different vs say the Odyssey G70B monitor and QN90C Tv. I will show you we are missing some Motion Plus features. I hope a new firmware may fix

Samsung Gaming Hub & Smart Apps Built-In
This Monitor includes a Remote Control which can access the Monitor Menu and control various options such as Volume or access Video Smart apps at a click of a button.

The actual Tizen OS used here is not up tp par for the Neo branding. From accessing the Smart Apps to the Motion Plus features everything feels a bit slow compared to the 32" G70B. The G70B feels like a smoother experience. Hopefully Samsung can release a new update to smooth things out.

I was able to reach about 900nits in HDR mode on a peak highlight. As seen here Souls looked eye piercing when lightning struck the portal. In SDR mode 690-700 max was possible on an SDR highlight. All in all this is a very bright monitor.
