A new statue of Beatle John Lennon has been unveiled in Liverpool. Situated in Penny Lane, site of one of the Beatles finest songs. The piece was designed by artist Laura Lian. Lian, has also made statues for the former Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone and Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones. Also in attendance was Cllr Richard Kemp, who unveiled the sculptor. Julie Gornell, from the Penny Lane Development Trust who helped arrange the whole thing.
