Struggling with identifying the coronary arteries in different views? Try this approach!

1. Learn the walls of the left ventricle outlined during the two LV gram views:

RAO 30:
- Anterior
- Inferior
- Apical

LAO 20:
-Septal
- Lateral
- Apical

2. Use the outline of the heart shadow in your views to identify LAO versus RAO.

3. Then use your knowledge of what coronaries feed what wall, to identify the correct coronary artery.

Anterior Wall: LAD
Inferior Wall: RCA
Lateral Wall: Circumflex
Apex: Distal LAD
