I was pretty proud to have reached the next level of proficiency here :) Of course i eventually started playing the bots on Nightmare, later even played a little competitive multiplayer, but i've never had any aspirations to be a "hardcore" or professional gamer. I play(ed) for fun, and to this day Quake 3 remains one of the most fun games i've ever played.
