Today we're off on a real treat in the shape of a fish and chip cruise aboard the fabulous 1923 art deco steamship The Daniel Adamson. We embark at the Anderson Boat Lift in Northwich, and four the next four and a half hours we take a leisurely cruise along the river Weaver taking in the sights and sounds of the British countryside. Towards the end of the cruise we are treated to fish and chips aboard having been delivered by a local fish and chip shop.
The Danny was rescued by the passion and skill of a volunteer force who run the project and operate the vessel. We can't recommend this trip highly enough, the peace and tranquility you experience as you take the leisurely voyage down the River Weaver is truly priceless.
