Elden Ring is undeniably both massive and one of the best games of all time and is a game that I have played since launch. It was my first Soulsborne game, which opened up the proverbial rabbit hole for me. But today, I am here to discuss the themes of the game – more specifically the theme of power and how it's presented throughout the narrative of Elden Ring. From the Frenzied Flame to the new DLC (Shadow of the Erdtree) I will be analysing how it affects the narrative, discover how it's put across and finally conclude on the overall effect of power on the games messages as a whole.
