Damaging winds that have been focused on TAS and parts of VIC will still be surging off and on in the days ahead, but the risk of severe wind warnings looks to ease going into next wee for the south-east of Australia.

A new low pressure zone next week may bring some heavy rain to inland parts of WA and SA, around the border.

There’s also a line of showers and downpours moving into NSW and towards Brisbane for a time.

Elsewhere the weather is fairly settled or repetitive.
