John me as we explore the old Sarver Hollow homestead and the reportedly haunted Appalachian Trail shelter that sets about it a hundred feet away. The area was settled in the 1850s by the sarver family with decedents still living there until the 1950s. They cleared the land and made a living in what now is a forest with only ruins remaining. A ghost named George is said to haunt the shelter shaking hikers awake at night, or walking by the shelter with his cane. I had a couple spooky experiences I’ll talk about, and ended up chickening out from the cold and eerie feeling, walking down the mountain about 130am. Thanks for watching!
