The psalmist's hope, despite everything that happens and that we have already mentioned, is that the promises of the Lord are pure. Others in the church, in the community, wherever, can tell lies and be hypocrites; but not God, he is just and faithful. Our hope and our principles should be based on this point, that they are pure as our God is. Let's focus more on God and less on people.
The Lord promises us to take care of such people. This in two senses, one is that it will protect us from being like them. Two, it will protect us from falling for his tricks. What do we have to do?
