留英港人群組熱傳「在香港朋友通知，留意，香港用永明拎強積金出事。Agent拉左（咗），當事人如返香港，入境處禁出境180日。」《追新聞》獲得可靠消息，有多名持有BN(O)簽證的港人，在英國透過永明金融取回強積金（MPF），在暑假期間入境香港，遭自稱廉政公署職員帶入房間問話，扣押48小時後，沒收旅遊證件，要定期報到，至今仍未能返回英國與家人團聚，似乎港府正大規模針對取得強積金移英港人。《追新聞》分別向永明金融、廉政公署查問，至截稿前仍未回覆。
