The Traufgang Hossinger ladder starts in the Eyachtal and leads as a circular walk up the Albtrauf to the village Hossingen. The starting point is the hiking car park in the Brunnental near Albstadt Laufen and from there the first part of the hike leads along the Brunnental. Then the Albtrauf over the Hossinger ladder is overcome, a mixture of stairs, bridges and jetties through the rock massif, and you are on the 943m above sea level high Heimberg. From there, the circular hike runs at the altitude to the Gräbelesberg and then leads over a steep descent back to the starting point.
I walked this hike in January 2018 for the second time as a winter hike and have captured many impressions of the icy and wintry landscape of the Swabian Alb. The weather was changeable on this day and partly it rained that day. Nevertheless, I beat the Hossinger ladder again and have a positive memory of this winter hike!
