"Baying Of The Hounds" from Opeth's "Ghost Reveries" album (2005). Another Ghost Reveries song that messed up my arm from all the practicing. It's another 10 minute song with endless riffs that will just go on and on. Let's start from the beginning. The first riff (which you get to repeat about 9 times) isn't that difficult and requires just some energy. At 1:55 you'll get a 2 seconds break before we start with a riff that is very similar to Ghost of Perdition. After that we get to a part that requires you to be somewhat effective in muting the strings. Some nasty fills, but it should all be fine. At 3:10 we get a pre-madness Ghost of Perdition riff that leads on to the hardest part of the song. I'm talking about the part that doesn't sound that nice of course. LUCKILY, there's a really easy after this that you get to repeat 70 times. After the soft part we return to some more finger breaking riffs that will last for about two and a half minutes. Then there's another soft Opethish part, and then the last riffs of the song. There's some more string muting, some more finger-twisting fills and then the final bang which was transcribed so badly on a lot of tabs I've seen for this song. It's basically just Ghost of Perdition 2.0, but in a quicker tempo. Great song though.

Some important information that nobody is going to read.
