Is there a reason to choose a grooved roller vs a smooth roller for your reel mower? I switched to a smooth roller to begin mowing some of my lawn renovation areas. The reason for this is that it is less aggressive on the somewhat soft soil that is there after leveling, and will help to continue to roll this soil with the machine over time. As with any roller...we still get to hear Connor say...Look at those STRIPES!!
