Mahabhaaratha Taathpariya NirNaya is part of the Sarva Moola Grantha which are the main teachings of Jagathguru Madhwacharya.

MBTN as it is popularly known as, attempts to give clear conclusion on various aspects of not just the Mahabhaaratha but what leads to this Ithihaasa as well.
