OHB System AG is one of the leading space system providers in Europe. The company belongs to the listed high-tech group OHB SE, where more than 3,000 highly qualified employees work mainly on key European space programs. The side in Oberpfaffenhofen covers applications of optical robotic and scientific payloads design, assembly and testing.

At this location OHB is realizing the ESA mission plato at the moment. A new concept shall demonstrate a 4 by 4 by 3 space telescope which contains 26 cameras scanning the milky way to search and characterize earth like planets.

A consortium OHB, C3, QleanAir, Hanselmann, Dastex, Merkle, Panterra and Dorfner took the challenge to realize the necessary 16 times 10 tie 6 m³ ISO5 cleanroom within a 5 day time window, between finished construction and start integration.
