I get asked all the time about lowering suspension on a T4, so I'm going to show you a quick overview of how you can lower your Volkswagen Transporter (Eurovan) yourself with just a few basic tools.

You can lower the front suspension with just a trolley jack, a couple axle stands, and a 28mm spanner. Lowering the rear suspension you will need a socket set, lowering springs, and depending on your spring setup you might need suspension straps.

We lowered our Volkswagen T4 Transporter about 100mm on the front and rear. The rear springs are 6 inch Faulkner springs rated at 900lbs.
