Chinnamasta, the goddess without head is one of the ten aspects of devi, dus mahavidya.
Head, the face is the identification of human body, the one who has no head represents the one has transcended from from the body and the senses. She is depicted as holding her own head. That represents her victory over the loss of life, over the body and the mind. She is the mother too so she is feeding the with the blood when there is no other option.

Chhinnamasta is closely related to Chinnamunda – the severed-headed form of the Tibetan Buddhist goddess Vajrayogini. Those who worship Chinnamasta will be free from the effects of Rahu as per Shaktism. The iconography of Chhinnamasta is described in the Trishakti Tantra, the Tantrasara, the Shakta Pramoda, and many more. As per the depiction Chinnamasta is sacrificing her own head to ffed the devotee. Chhinnamasta is a goddess of contradictions: she "is both the food and the eater of food, thereby symbolizing the whole world by this act of being devoured and the devourer. Her nakedness and free-flowing hair denote rejection of societal stereotypes and her rebellious freedom, as well as her sensual aspect.

Tantric practitioners worship Chhinnamasta for acquiring siddhis or supernatural powers. She embodies self-control of lust, heroic self-sacrifice for the benefit of others, and fearlessness in the face of demise so her sadhana gives all these fruits. Other goals common to worship of all Mahavidyas are poetic speech, well-being, control of one's foes, removal of obstacles, ability to sway kings, ability to attract others, conquest over others, and, moksha.
