Blues harmonica genius West Weston and his Bluesonics rock the Railway Hotel in Southend-on-Sea on Sunday 21 April 2013.

Steve 'West' Weston is widely regarded as the UK's finest blues harp player. As well as making regular live appearances with his own Bluesonics, West also plays harmonica for Mud Morganfield's touring band. Mud Morganfield is the eldest son of legendary bluesman Muddy Waters. West Weston's Bluesonics played two sets at this late afternoon/early evening show. The Railway Hotel was packed for both sets, but the second set was really jumpin'! This video features the second song of the second set. A couple of songs later it was livelier still, and impossible to film anything, with so many people dancing. The dancing even spilled out onto the pavements outside! Great band, great pub, great atmosphere... great fun! http://www.railwayhotelsos.co.uk/

West Weston's awesome blues harp playing is featured on Wilko Johnson & Roger Daltrey's new album 'Going Back Home'. West also played live with Wilko & Roger at both their Shepherds Bush Empire and 'An Evening With Suggs and Friends for Pancreatic Cancer UK' live shows. Watch West in action with Wilko & Roger on the official video for 'I Keep It To Myself' here:    • Wilko Johnson, Roger Daltrey - I Keep...

West's amazing guitarist, Paul Garner, also has his own band. Find them here:   / paulgarnerband
