Argenta Illinois, exploring around in a small rural town is exactly what it says it is. Argenta Illinois is a small town outside Decatur Illinois in Macon County and I enjoy going to these towns and documenting them. I check out some of the quirky yard decor and classic vehicles lying around and the old schools that have been converted into something else. These small towns almost always have an old school that has been sold in the private sector and Argenta Illinois is not an exception. These rural towns also almost always have a "downtown" area that may have a couple businesses as well as buildings that were once a business that now serve as apartments or storage. I love the slow quiet pace of life in small rural towns and I find exploring and documenting them very calming. The historical architecture is often not altered too much and it just makes for a fun, relaxing day. So see what I saw when I went to Argenta Illinois.
