Hello Friends Today I am going to show you the Goddess Mavullamma temple located in Rayakuduru village in West Godavari district. Villagers here say that this mother is the goddess who protects this village. History says that this mother has been in this village for more than 600 years. In this temple, along with this goddess, her younger sister Mahalakshmi is also present next to her. Also, they say that their ancestors told the elders of this village that every year Maavulamma in this temple used to ask for "Human Sacrifice" after the fair on the 'Amavasya of Jyeshtha Bahula'.
