Mama MIA! This van!!!

Lost power, went to the DPF screen and saw the DPF at 124%... again. Dropped it off at dealer to get it fixed. While they had the van I also decided to get the Service A performed.

Here's the description of everything Mercedes did on the van from fixing the DPF issue to the recalls, to the Service A

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HOURS:
4.40 TECH(S): 1276
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS COMING ON, DPF IS NOT REGENERATING - PLEASE CHECK AND ADVISE
CEL is on when starting engine. Road test vehicle (11:18 @ 14904 miles - 11:36am @ 14909 miles). Severe lack of power is experienced. Transmission hangs in gear when shifting.
Connect battery charger and test for codes w/ SDS - P246364, P246385 & P245385. Evaluate Freeze Frame data and determined P246364 & P246385 "The fill level of the diesel particulate filter is too high. Regeneration of the diesel particulate filter is disabled" triggered the CEL. Inspect fill level of the DPF - 21.7g of soot. Inspect fill level of fuel tank
-
64.1L. Perform Collation of Diagnostic performance Data.
Test DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8) w/ actual values @ 76C - difference of 0 hPa. Disconnect B28/8 - 19hpa. R&R CDI Control unit (N3/47), test continuity of wiring between N3/47 & B28/8 - 0.1 ohms. Test pin socket integrity at N3/47 & B28/8 - tight. Inspect routing of hoses to DPF filter for kinks and chaffing - ok. Inspect threaded connections at filter - seated / tight. Perform compression test: difference of -4.8 rpms detected. R& engine air filter housing. Test filtered air inlet pipe and crankcase ventilation system for leaks - tight. R&R filtered air inlet pipe and connected adapter to turbo inlet.
Pressurized
charge air system to 300 mbar w/ gauge & inspect for leaks
-
system is leak tight. Test tail pipe for carbon fouling - white color. Pressure test exhaust system and inspect for leaks - no leaks detected. Performed plausibility check of exhaust temp sensors - ok. After plausibility test, current code for P242D00 "Temperature sensor upstream of diesel particulate filter (B19/13) has an open circuit or short to positive"
" set. Disconnect B19/13 and test voltage supply
-
5.03V. Test internal resistance of B19/13 - 795 ohms.
Disconnect Temperature sensor upstream of catalytic converter and test internal resistance as a comparison - 273
ohms.
Replaced temp sensor upstream of DPF due high internal resistance. Road test vehicle and perform manual regeneration while driving (12:42pm @ 14909 miles - 1:24pm @ 14928 miles), after approx. 14 miles regeneration was successful, continued driving and monitor performance of temp sensors - ok. Recheck fill level at conclusion of road test 0.4g. Cleared codes. Performed post repair Collation of Diagnostic performance Doto per 505. System functoning as Designed.
