Welcome to Part 1 of this short video series. We will go over whats included in this kit, some basic principles of operation, installation in the vehicle, and finally software configuration.

This is a complete crank and cam trigger setup for the 3SGTE. It is designed to replace the stock distributor with digital hall sensors on the crank and cam. A setup like this will allow for full sequential fuel and ignition so you can reap all the benefits EFI has to offer. This will also allow you to run individual ignition coils on each cylinder, no more distributor to worry about!

Please keep in mind that you will need a standalone ECU to use this trigger kit! If you are still on stock ECU this kit cannot be used.

The ECU we are using is Megasquirt 3 with MS3X expansion: https://www.diyautotune.com/product/m...

We will discuss what needs to be setup in the MS3 ECU to get this running. Don't worry if you are using a different ECU, the settings we will go over are still relevant to most other aftermarket engine management systems and this will give you a better idea of what will be needed to be done on your application.
