The Saloma Link Bridge or in Malay (Pintasan Saloma) is a project by the Kampung Bharu Development Corporation (PKB), is a 69 metres long walkway located in "Kampung Baru" Village and the entire project costs approximately RM31 Million. It took 18 months to complete this pedestrian link bridge.

The Saloma Link Bridge, named after the wife of legendary Malay actor P. Ramlee, is likely to boost Kampung Baru village from locals and foreign tourists.

The architecture design is inspired by the sireh junjung concept - betel nut leaf arrangement.


【5 REASONS WHY PEOPLE LOVE SALOMA LINK BRIDGE KL】

1) Before this, the walking time from Kampung Baru to KLCC will take more than 30 minutes as they are separated by the busy Alkeh highway and Klang Rivers. But now, the journey is shorten to less than 10 minutes by crossing The Solama Link Bridge.

2) The Saloma Link Bridge not only popular attraction in the KL, but the main objective is to increases the convenience for locals when comes to accessing these two places.

5) Good news for cyclist, The Saloma Link Bridge probably the only facility slot along the stairways to facilitate those pushing their bicycles as they walkway stairs on the Kampung Baru village side..
