In this (10 min) video, I show how to create a custom "Support File Search Path". Once created, you can put many forms of searchable content into the folder such that it can be automatically found by Civil 3D or any AutoCAD based applications. This includes Blocks, .SHX text fonts, Custom Linetypes, plug-ins, hatch patterns and more.
