now here is a little red brick norman church right near the liverpool anglican cathedral the church had 2 white clock faces on 2 oppositte sides it may have had a single bell to strike the hours only its still used as a church st james in the city of liverpool you could even hear the cathedral bells ringing bit of a breeze which blew the sound of the cathedral bells away it sounded faint sometimes and louder at other times this was the last tower we all rang at not me otherwise the bells are far far to difficult for me to ring dont like standing on the circle ring i like the bells otherwise yes i was doing touring around liverpool cathedral and its past and history i hope you like my tour around liverpool city ok by stuart mills bellringer no books at st james church its always nice to spot churches that we didnt even know about i think the church is boarded up plus the windows not everybody notices redundant churches like i do i think st james church in liverpool is a redundant little redbrick church it says on the notice outside church is open its like the bombed out church st lukes church at the bottom of liverpool city centre near the lime street train station no bells in st lukes church dont know where they are or weather they are at another church or been scrapped not sure i think the bombed church had 8 bells years and years ago long long before my time
