Jan Jongepier (1941-2011) was an accomplished organist, organ consultant, and above all improviser, sadly now little known outside the Netherlands. He was one of the first Dutch organists to improvise in an historical idiom, and also was the teacher of the famous Sietze de Vries.
Recorded live in concert in 1992. Organ in Sint-Janskathedraal, 's-Hertogenbosch (den Bosch), the Netherlands.
