A quick improvisation on the P-6 which arrived today. Sounds great. This is a powerful little machine. 16 voices of polyphony plus 4 voices of a granular sound (not used here). Pattern sequencer with lots of options. 48 samples available across four banks of 6 pads (subject to available polyphony). Global reverb and delay. A bunch of multi-effects. Bus choices for sending some pads to effects, others dry. A lot of options for the granular voice (spread, grain size, head position, head speed, grain shape...). Can record through the effects via usb class compliant audio, mix in connection, headphone mic, or built in mic. Records parameter changes in real time. Play samples chromatically. Lots more. There are a lot of "shift plus" combinations but they seem pretty logical. Has 3 hours of battery time. It is small and weighs very little. Incredible value. Sample size can be increased by using lower sample rate. Resample of pads with effects and also of sequences. Lots of potential use case scenarios.
