The first video session specifically tailored for beginners and youth athletes interested in pistol shooting. It marked the initiation of the shooting training program. It emphasized the use of air pistols for beginners, highlighting their relative harmlessness, simple range installations, and cost-effectiveness. Air pistol shooting was recommended as an ideal starting point for novices in the sport.
Despite its beginner-friendly nature, air pistol shooting is a widely popular aspect of international competitions. It attracts more participants than any other pistol event in shooting championships. Notably, since 1988, air pistol shooting has been a staple in the Olympic Games' competition program, further underscoring its significance in the world of competitive shooting.
