INFO:
Michael Jackson performing ‘Stranger in Moscow’ in Helsinki, Finland at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium (I love how this venue looks). Performed on August 26th, 1997 as part of the 2nd show in Helsinki (the first show being on August 24th). Both shows were sold out for 50.000 attendees each, which is 100.000 people in total

This footage was taken from the broadcast of the show hence the subtitles being added when Michael speaks.

THOUGHTS:
Very enjoyable all around, the late 1997 style really fits Stranger in Moscow. The very fluid robotics, and the compassion Michael is showing. The lighting and cinematography look really good here, especially during the bgs shots. 3:52-4:10 is a beautiful moment, the ending dance sequence is absolutely brilliant too, the moonwalk section at 4:46 is just so fucking perfect.

WHAT I DID:
Thanks to ‪@VinVonVoom‬ for sending the files. I deinterlaced into 50fps, color correction, lighting correction, audio EQ.

Generally with these videos I just try to improve upon the original, and try to fix things that bother me the most about the tape. I don’t try to fix every single thing that could be fixed:)
