Worst club I ever played ✅

Promoters printed the wrong date on the tickets. When we questioned them about it, promoters said 'dont worry about it' even though the bands were tasked with selling so many tickets. Had several friends miss the show due to confusion. ✅

Venue demanded bands 'bring their own microphones' ✅

Arrived... Told us where to set up equipment. made us move it 3 times ✅

Kept making us move tables where we were sitting for unknown reasons.. Kept moving chairs outside. It was like angry drunk musical chairs. Each time we all had to move our bags, coats, beverages etc. This was during the show. Very disrespectful to the first band. ✅

Doorman decided to personally manhandle move my equipment, which was placed where this idiot told me to put it, to make room for a band that showed up 2 hours late. ✅

Show was booked as a festival. Minus the people that we sold tickets to, the club had maybe 8 other spectators for the 6 other bands. Combined ✅

Sound guy smelled awful, demanded each band do a 20 minute sound check prior to the performances even though we were all using the same backline. ✅

This was what the power strip where I had to plug in amp looked like. (See pic) Sound man goes "there should be one open hole" sure, and a possible fire hazard. ✅

Sound guy interrupted us WHILE PLAYING to have a little chat ✅

Sound guy drunk and caused a scene because we stopped playing because he was trying to talk to me while I was playing a guitar solo ✅

He gave us a hand signal what we interpreted as "stop playing" so we did. He then became irate that the 'finger across the throat sign" and mouthing "you're done" didn't mean to stop playing. Then denied that he had done so. We were within our allotted time. Short fast set. Not going overboard. A set that we had to personally sell tickets for. ✅

Sound guy mocked my medical condition that causes tremors in my hands, I told him it was a medical issue he disagreed and said it was cause I was angry (????) and needed to calm down. The he got in my face literally in make-out range. I wasn't angry tho. I was very confused.✅

He then wigs out that he 'couldn't have known my medical history'. I tell him to show a little class next time... Oops... and he freaks out. Continues to follow me and lecture me as I was attempted to deescalate the situation with a man who clearly had too much to drink / drug ✅

As I was trying to leave Doorman threw a fit that I had a hydration drink with me to stay hydrated while playing, it was in my rider, but I bought it myself✅

He had taken it upon himself to go into my gear and remove the non-alcoholic hydration drink and throw it away ✅

Doorman wouldn't let me collect my gear until he finished threatening me about having a hydration drink He keeps repeating "that should have never been allowed in here!" ... right. but wouldn't the door man be the one to enforce that? I've never played a gig where the band was chastised and threatened for bringing honey tea, Gatorade, liquid death, etc. I wasn't a customer. I was performing, it was a tool of the trade ffs. So, I'm like "well, what does it matter, you threw it away." and he goes "it should never have been allowed!!!" At this point wtf am I supposed to do about it? I think he was trying to get me to start a fight or argument, but, I just wanted to leave this place and never return again. So Im like 'alright Whatever, man.' and he follows me out the door shouting "yeah, whatever! whatever!". I don't know what's wrong with these people.✅

First band lost their bag of weed on stage. That was okay. But my hydration drink was apparently a big honking problem ✅

Show was a nightmare; Good clean fun. Haven't played a gig this bad in years. I'd say it's #2 the worst gig we ever played (though we were in top form) and #1 the worst venue we ever played. The unprofessionalism from the staff was amazing. They were angry and surly from the moment we arrived (2 hours before the show started).
