Waqar Younis is a former Pakistani cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of cricket. He was born on November 16, 1971, in Vehari, Punjab, Pakistan.
Younis made his international debut for Pakistan in 1989 and quickly established himself as one of the most fearsome fast bowlers in the world.
Younis was known for his devastating reverse swing, which he could generate even with a relatively new ball. His unorthodox bowling action, which involved a unique "toe-crushing" yorker delivery, made him a difficult bowler to face for even the best batsmen in the world.

Throughout his career, Younis played in 87 Tests and 262 One Day Internationals (ODIs), taking 373 and 416 wickets, respectively. He was the youngest bowler to take 200 Test wickets and also holds the record for the second-highest number of ODI wickets taken by a Pakistani bowler.

The Pakistan tour of New Zealand 1st ODI at Dunedin on December 15, 1995, saw Waqar Younis take a memorable wicket of Adam Parore with a deadly inswinging yorker. He ran in hard and delivered a fast, full ball that swung back in sharply towards the right-handed batsman.

He delivered a fast, full ball that swung back in sharply towards the right-handed batsman. Vaidya was unable to get his bat down in time to defend the delivery, and the ball crashed into his stumps, knocking them over.

In the Pakistan vs West Indies 1st Test at Sharjah on January 31, 2002, Waqar Younis bowled adeadly yorker to dismiss Cameron Cuffy in the first innings. He delivered a fast, full ball that swung in late towards the right-handed batsman. Cuffy was caught off guard and was unable to bring his bat down in time to defend the delivery.

In the Pakistan tour of West Indies 3rd Test match at St John's on May 01-06, 1993, Waqar Younis bowled a fantastic swinging yorker to dismiss Phil Simmons. The delivery swung in late and dipped towards the stumps as Simmons attempted to play it. that delivery Waqar's banana swing delivery was a fast, in-swinging yorker that was aimed at the toes of the batsman.

In the New Zealand tour of Pakistan 3rd Test on October 26-31, 1990, Waqar Younis bowled a superb yorker to dismiss Trevor Franklin in the first innings. He delivered a fast, full ball that swung in sharply towards the right-handed batsman. Franklin was unable to get his bat down in time to defend the delivery.
