How to cut a curve on a Rubi Snap Cutter.

With some snap cutters it is possible to make a curved cut on a tile without needing to use a grinder or a wet saw. This is especially true for Rubi TS series snap cutters. In a recent video I showed how I had repaired my old Rubi TS-50 which I had taken out of service years ago because I had simply worn it out by long years of successful use. After my repair I put it back into use and remembered just how good this score and snap cutter is. As luck would have it, the very first job that I used this cutter I had to cut along a curved tub, which is actually one of the things that the TS dose quite well. Let me be clear not all tiles will lend themselves to this type of cut on a snap cutter but quite a few will. In this video I show how to cut a curve in a porcelain tile with not much effort at all. To facilitate the turning of a tile, a second porcelain tile can be placed under the tile to be cut to allow easier turning of the top tile. The bottom tile must be removed when it is time to snap the tile.
