This is a short guide for catching Copper Shark, my current favorite way to get Orange Scrips. While it's not always up, when it is up, I drop everything I can to get there. It may not be the best, but it is still great and chill.

Fish: Copper Shark
Location: Living Memory
Hole: Canal Town North (8.5x, 28.4y)
Bait: Ghost Nipper
Conditions: Any Time during Clouds or Fog
Folklore Book: Alexandria
Min Gathering: None, but should be in Lv.100 gear.

📋Window Prep
Arrive to Canal Town North a bit early and cast out with Ghost Nipper. Catch a Forgotten One, a !! bite, use Surface Slap, Prize Catch, and Collect. Wait until the window opens for Copper Shark.

*If you arrive during Clouds or Fog, you can do the above, but also use Ambitious Lure 3x.

🎣Catching Copper Shark
Once the Copper Shark window opens, cast out and use Ambitious Lure until you get "A gentle giant stirs beneath the water!" pop up on your screen; this means that there is a chance that Copper Shark might bite. Whenever that text pops up, stop using Ambitious Lure and let the fish bite. If it's a !! bite, then use hook to reel the fish in (which will be Copper Shark, if Forgotten One is slapped).

After you catch your first Copper Shark, cast back out and use Ambitious Lure 3x again like before - this time, waiting to see what fish bites regardless of if the special message ("A gentle giant stirs beneath the water!") appears or not.

If it is a !! bite, use hook to catch it - and if it's a Forgotten One, then use Surface Slap and Prize Catch, then cast out like and use Ambitious Lure again until you get the message.
If it is a ! bite, use Rest to reel in quickly, then cast back out and use Ambitious Lure again like before until a !! bite shows up.

Repeat these steps until the window closes (usually 1 weather window), or until you get bored or something I don't know.
