In this Science (Chemistry) video in Hindi for class 9 we explained what isotopes and isobars are. This is a topic from Chapter 4 -'Structure of Atom' of NCERT Science.

Isotopes of an element are different forms of the same element that contain equal number of protons but different number of neutrons in their nuclei, and hence differ in their atomic mass but not in chemical properties.
3 isotopes of hydrogen are protium (hydrogen - 1), deuterium (hydrogen - 2), tritium (hydrogen - 3)
3 isotopes of carbon are carbon 1, carbon 2 and carbon 3.

Isobars are forms of different elements that contain equal number of nucleons but different number of protons in their nuclei, and hence differ in their chemical properties but not in atomic mass.
carbon - 14 and nitrogen - 14 are isobars.
