INGREDIENTS

1 large potato
750ml sunflower oil
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt

METHOD

1. Peel the potato
2. Use a mandoline for thin potato slices
3. Soak in cold water to remove the starch
4. Boil water in a dutch oven pot
5. Drain and boil the potato chips for one minute
6. Place on a paper towel
7. Separate evenly and pat dry
8. Put oil in a dutch oven pot on a medium high
9. Fry for approximately 2-3 minutes
10. Add sugar, paprika, garlic powder and salt.
11. Shake well
