So you want to play the theremin, eh?
Well, my friend, there are a few more things OTHER than that beautiful instrument that you'll need to gather before you begin to play.
Note: You don't TECHNICALLY need an amp or 1/4 in. cable IF your theremin has a headphone jack and you just want to listen through headphones. If, however, you plan on playing out loud or taking a lesson, say, you will need these things.
MY GEAR -
These brands/types of gear aren't necessarily the absolute PERFECT ones to play the theremin... this is simply what I have found works for me!
1. Theremin(s) Check out the Moog Theremini ... great for starting on without breaking the bank!

2. Amplifier
The Roland Street Cube is discontinued... but never fear! Here's my new fave battery powered amp, the Everse 8: https://sweetwater.sjv.io/xkZbaA
Orange Amp (not recommended other than as a backup) https://bit.ly/3LVEsPX
3. Stand
I use the bottom of a boom stand for the Etherwave, as I find it's easier to achieve the height I want for the instrument.
