Clarification: 80% discounts for students apply only on 30-day tickets. 50% count on short-term tickets. You can also buy the check-in type tickets at Maxima and Iki, not just the postoffice, what I previously believed

Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to leave a like if you enjoyed the video!
I do apologize for the wind in the beginning of the video, making it hard to hear me, I only realized after I recorded it already how bad it actually was.

Go and enjoy the public transport of Lithuania like I have done! Busses are a sure way to get from your point A to point B, and they are (usually) on time not like a lot of other countries’ busses. There are also plenty of trains you can use, or smaller direct busses to other cities like Trakai, that leave from the station (or Stotis in Lithuanian).
Don’t be alarmed when the mentioned bolt scooters disappear from the landscape of Vilnius during winter though. It starts snowing as early as November and gets mighty slippery, so it wouldn’t be safe either way.
There are also rentable bikes in the city, sponsored by the supermarket chain Rimi, which you can unlock with an app. So if the scooters seem a bit too scary for you, you can always give these a shot!
