TITLE: Quantum Causality: Rethinking Cause and Effect

ABSTRACT:
Understanding the natural world through cause-and-effect relationships is a cornerstone of scientific inquiry. While classical theories of causality have been successfully applied across various disciplines, extending these principles to the quantum realm requires critical re-examination. In this talk, we will explore which aspects of classical causality may need modification or rejection to accommodate the features of quantum mechanics. We will examine key paradigmatic scenarios such as the double-slit experiment, Bell's theorem, and their generalizations in quantum networks, alongside recent experimental advancements that challenge traditional causal frameworks.
